The first Metta Convention, ‘Meeting of Hearts’, was held in Singapore in 2013, followed by the ‘Healing of Hearts’ Convention in Sri Lanka in 2014. These conferences are especially convened to promote the widespread practice of loving-kindness, and bring like-minded people together through acts of compassionate love.

The 2016 Metta Convention will be held at Uluru , in the heart of Australia, from 11-13 March 2016. The theme of this convention is ‘Connecting of Hearts’, which represents the connecting of Buddhist and Aboriginal spiritual beliefs and practices, as well as connecting cultures, people and the land. It will provide an opportunity to share and exchange practices and experiences of wisdom and love.
